The Manor House

A large country house that sleeps 6 adults, 2 children and a dog (or more by agreement). Set in a rural area with fantastic open vistas to the rear, 3 miles outside of Rhosneigr with log burner and hot tub set in a large rear garden.

Entering into the entrance hall there is a beautiful 'arts and crafts' doorway through to the large and light lounge and dining area. At over 11m long, this is an impressive space, set off by the full height floor to ceiling window that looks down the drive and the french doors into the conservatory that leads out out onto the rear patio. The lounge area has plenty of comfortable seating for all guests, arranged around a period fireplace and log burner, with a smart TV. The dining area has a striking teak root table that seats 6 to 8, perfect for more formal eating or perhaps a special celebration?

Moving through the lounge, there is a large, well equipped, family kitchen with window seats looking out over the rear garden, a kitchen table, large range cooker, fridge freezer and dishwasher.

The kitchen has a door out onto the courtyard, one to a utility area with washing matchine, separate sink and coat hooks and one leading to the ground floor bedroom. With zip link twin beds, set as a superking double as standard, the ground floor bedroom is a large, double aspect room with ensuite walk in shower room.

Moving upstairs, there is another zip link superking double with washbasin and a masterbedroom with large 4 piece ensuite bathroom and dressing area, where a day bed can be converted to two truckle beds for young children (under 11 only please). There is another toilet and shower room just off the entrance hall and for the younger guests, a high chair, travel cot, safety gate and changing mat are available.

Outside, to the rear of the property, there is a south facing patio, accessed through the conservatory complete with hot tub, patio furniture and BBQ and leading to a large garden laid mainly to grass. Perfect for enjoying the beautiful open views across fields towards the tiny church house that is the only remaining part of St Ulcheds church, from which the estate got its name and providing plenty of space for burning off steam. Guests should note the rear garden is only separated from open fields with a Ha-Ha, so small children and dogs need to be supervised.

There are three car parking spaces available with this cottage.
